For this ORMIT & NTS Project Management Traineeship, we are hoping to find talent that will assist NTS in achieving its growth objectives, now and in the future. These objectives demand seamless cooperation with clients. It is crucial in this respect to supply systems and provide services of the highest quality. Another requirement is for processes within NTS to run perfectly and to move with the times. As a Project Leader, you will make an effort towards this optimisation during your traineeship. You will also follow an intensive training program at ORMIT to further your professional as well as personal development.

Accelerating the future

NTS is a first-tier systems supplier of mechatronic or optomechatronic systems and mechanical modules for large, high-tech machine manufacturers. Its knowledge and experience enable NTS to enhance its clients' value chains significantly. As a Project Leader, you are responsible for translating this value to collaborations with demanding clients such as ASML. You survey the value chain of which NTS is part and work to optimise the supply chain within NTS itself. In doing so, you focus both on technical and on administrative aspects. You also make sure that products and processes within NTS have the highest quality. For this purpose, you must be able to survey, map and improve processes. It goes without saying that you have a strong affinity with technology and a head for stakeholder management. In other words, you manage to effect change. This way, you will contribute to tomorrow's technology.

An intensive development program

Over a 2-year period, you will be challenged to develop your talent and personal leadership in full. To this end, you will embark on a very intensive development program, in addition to two projects at NTS. This program will focus on your development and will assist you in quickly mastering the challenges within NTS. The ultimate goal is to accelerate your personal growth and build the foundation for a successful career at NTS.

Get to know the ORMIT Traineeship

  • Challenging projects at NTS During this two year program you will take on different projects at NTS. Your responsibilities and projects are becoming increasingly challenging and will grow in impact, complexity and stakeholder management.
  • Focus on yourself - focus on others The first year of this Traineeship will focus on you. The second year will focus on collaboration and leading others. With usefull feedback, out-of-the-box trainings and on-the-job practicing you will grow every day.
  • Intensive education and training program Consisting of subject-oriented certification courses and training days from ORMIT (around 26 days in total during two years). Develop your communication skills, stakeholder management, an extensive toolkit of project, process and change management and self-insight to excel as a young professional.
  • Intervision with other ORMIT trainees To learn from -and with- fellow trainees, also known as your 'pool friends'. This means straightforward feedback, honest observations and lasting friendships.
  • Coaching by an ORMIT coach Your coach helps you to develop to your maximum potential.

What we ask of you:

  • A Master of Science degree, preferably in a technical subject area such as Mechanical Engineering, or in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, IT or Quality Management;
  • 0 to 2 years’ professional experience; 
  • Excellent command of English and/or Dutch;
  • Relevant extracurricular activities (as a plus);
  • Affinity with technology in a commercial context;
  • High quality standards;
  • A proactive attitude and a champion of innovation/improvement within NTS;
  • A development-oriented mindset;
  • A head for stakeholder management and relationship-building.
